DANFSe and XML
The files each invoice keeps, how to download them, and for how long they stay.

- Download from the invoice page. Every role can, including accountant. Links to storage are signed and valid for five minutes.
- The DANFSe is rendered by a separate worker right after authorization, so it may appear a few seconds after the XML. It is not rendered for the Fortaleza route.
- Every file is kept for six years from issue: the tax authority has five years, counted from the following year, to review an invoice.
- Each status change and each file is recorded in the invoice’s event trail, with a hash chained to the previous event; the invoice page shows whether the chain verifies.
