Batch issuing from a spreadsheet

Upload, validation, confirmation. Nothing is issued before you say so.

  1. 1 Download a template in Batches: the measurement layout (for energy distributors’ partners) or the generic one. Each has an Instructions tab.
  2. 2 Fill one row per invoice and upload it as .xlsx or .csv (separated by semicolon, comma or tab), up to 1,000 rows and 5 MB.
  3. 3 Read the findings, row by row. Nothing has been created yet: you can discard the batch.
  4. 4 Confirm. Each valid row becomes an invoice and is queued for transmission; invalid rows stay out. Download the batch report (.xlsx) to see what became which invoice.

The generic layout

Only the amount is required. The client is found by CPF/CNPJ, or registered from the row when it carries a name. The service is the name of one already in your catalogue, or its national code (6 digits) with the ISS rate. Competence accepts a date or a month; empty means today.

What is checked

  • Errors (the row does not become an invoice): amount not above zero, competence in the future, invalid CPF/CNPJ, new client without a name, unknown service, ISS rate outside 2–5%, missing municipal code in Rio, malformed IBGE code.
  • Warnings (you decide): the same row twice in the file, an existing invoice for the same client, amount and month, a file identical to one uploaded before.
  • In the measurement layout, a bulletin already invoiced, here or by your previous system (imported history), is an error, with the number of the earlier invoice.
